Look around VJ there are plenty of denials daily posted. And of course people are denied everyday some even banned from ever coming to US. Some legitimate some not. From all over the world men and women it happens.

Visa are denied when the consulate feels you don't have a real relationship, you can't prove that you can support the immigrant or you are barred from the US for any reason

And of course there should be denials! Although this is a long slow process, we know that thorough checks are done to prevent people from entering the US fraudulently. It's the dang fraudsters that cause a lot of the problems with immigration!!!

It seems like more K1's are denied than CR1's (harder to prove a relationship when you are not married right?) but CR1's still get denied. As they should when they are not legit.

Actually the level of proof of a married couple is higher than a fiance. In high fraud countries it is harder to see that and both have cases of the runaway bride/groom. Unfortunately not all marriages are acts of love by both ( and some cases either ) parties

I just searched cr1 denials on here and most cases seem to have the same thing in common. The beneficiary went to the interview alone. What are the odds of denials for the spouse attending the interview vs not attending the interview? Just curious. There are a lot that got AP with both attending but I don't see denials.

It makes sense that your odds of proving a relationship are better when the petitioner is at the interview.

Well for Lagos and most embassies petitioners aren't allowed in the interview. Dominican Republic is the only embassy its required.

Don't really thinks it has anything to do with it. The petitioner standing outside doesn't say alot but I am here.
