I recently applied for a fiancé visa. She was approved and came here to the US. She stayed for about 2 months, and decided that she doesn't like the US. She enumerated a lot of things that she didn't like and would much rather go back to Switzerland. We didn't get married, and she left well before her fiancé visa expired. My question now is, is it still possible for us to get our original documents back? It is the documents that I've used when we applied for her fiancé visa. It contains her original BC, etc etc.

Please advice, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

P.S.

If there is already a topic or thread about my inquiry, my apologies. If someone can link it to me, that would be great.

Thanks once again.

Exactly, if you read the instructions, you only send in copies of the originals, then bring in the originals for your interview. Its kind of like saying, I wish I took that curve slower when driving, so I didn't hit that tree.

One key reason I went in with my wife for her citizenship interview where I could not go in with her. First place, she gets tense and a bit brain dead. Documents not returned from the US are not too bad to replace. But some from her home country could cost 3,000 bucks to replace. Made darn sure we got all those documents back before leaving. Also made darn sure she got her green card back, that's 400 bucks!
