Passport in Limbo

Hi!

On February 23rd, 2014 I had my visa interview and was told that my visa was approved and that I would be getting it in 7-10 business days. After 9 business days (March 6th) I received a phone call from Loomis Express saying that my visa was ready fro pickup. However, when I got to the visa office, one of the employees said that he was given instructions by the embassy to send my visa back. I looked online for similar cases but did not find any, however, I found that people were able to see their visa status, so I checked mine and it said "issued" and that it would come in "5 business days". This was updated March 11th. It has been longer than 5 business days, and when I try to track my package it has my old waybill information and says 'ready for pick up' but that waybill is inadmissible according to the Loomis personnel I called because it was sent back to the Embassy. I dont really know what is going on... does anyone know what could be the issue? I really need my passport back soon so I can travel. I have tried Loomis, I tried calling and putting in my passport and birth year (and nothing), I tried to send in an inquiry about it and no reply. Any advice at all?

The only way to contact Montreal is through their online form. It takes 1-2 weeks minimum for them to reply. Contact them as they will have your passport.
