Sent the k1 AOS without the Payment check :(

we sent out package and after i sent it i found that i forgot to attach the payment check for the AOS with it

i don't know what is gonna happen or what i have to do ?

need help please

thank you so much for the quick reply ... do you know how long time it takes to receive my package back ? today i found on usps that the uscis received the package today .

It can take up to a month to actually look at the petition and realize there is no check there, then they will send it back super slow mail (like 3rd class mail).

There's a chance you might get it back sooner, but Harpa pretty much has the right of it, it could very well realistically take a month or even more.

Once they receive it, it might take a week or more for someone to even look at it. A little more time to sort through it. Then it gets put in the rejected pile and sent off to the mailing department. They'll get around to it whenever they do, maybe another week, and it won't be sent by any particularly rushed method, and the post office is dubious at best. They like to mis-sort things to Alaska, especially with the budget cuts they've undergone over the last year or so.
