EAD Card Production

Hi Everyone,

I attended a walk-in appointment for my biometrics yesterday (for I-765). Immediately after my case status changed to 'Card Production'. I know it says it can take 30 days but has anyone ever received theirs sooner, if so how soon?

I just need a rough idea to tell my future employer, they have been very patient.

I wish mine had done that, it took a complaint to the ombudsman to get mine issued. Anyway in relation to your question it takes a few days for it to be printed and then another day for you to get the USPS tracking number, then it is in USPS's hands. They send it Priority 2 Day but that doesn't mean anything as far as USPS is concerned, mine was sent on a Thursday and I got it the following Tuesday.
