Very sad!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never understand why muslim people never integrate with the rules of the country where they decide to live...................if they dont like the rules of the countries where they decide to live why they don't stay in their original damn countries???????? They can make a big favor to americans (in this case) and to themselves!!!!!

What rule is being broken? I cannot get over the ignorance in this thread.

I was surprised when I first came to VJ. The hardest part is trying to push the nagging thought out of my mind that these people may represent a large portion of the U.S. population.

America is made up of a lot of different cultures and races... just wanted to point that out but not sure why

It's called the "disabilities act". Someone with a service animal cannot be discriminated against. By law they have to allow it.

They got together and decided to do this because they see the turmoil in this country about being PC. They just decided to get their share. Most of the convinence stores and hotels in my city are owned by Muslims. They have no trouble selling beer or allowing it in the rooms. Why is it that this is only happening in Min/St.Paul? Why now? It's political not religious.

Here in the Philippines, dogs are not allowed inside the mall. If you want to bring them, they must be in their rack.

Well unlike CA, the supermarkets in NJ do not sell booze because the state law forbids it.

Similarly my wife was telling me about a couple of towns where the local authorities had made passed laws making it illegal for stores to open on sundays. In fact, I remember that was the case in Britain when I was growing up in the 80's.

Likewise. Just goes to show that going to college does not make a person smart or worldly. Especially when someone is educated only by like-minded people.

You should tell that to one of our other posters - who keeps flaunting his alleged "life experience" before proceeding to trot out a stream of media soundbites.

Just because someone does a job for years, it doesn't automatically mean that they're any good at it. Similarly a person who travels widely isn't necessarily clued up about other cultures and countries, if they approach things with a closed mind.

Not withstanding of course, the numerous muslim posters on this thread, those with muslim significant others immigrating to this country, the millions of law abiding muslim citizens currently here in the United States, and the first muslim congressman from Minnesota.

It's our damn country too.

Would it be wrong of one to expect a person migrating to x country to learn and respect their rules, laws, traditions, culture history etc and try to assimilate into the country they have 'chosen' to live in??

Chosen being the million dollar word there..
