My husband filed the 130 at US Embassy Manila last February 11, 2014 and it was approved in just 2 days and the USCIS sent him a notice of approval and it says there that they are going to contact me on what are the next steps to be done but until now, I did not hear anything from them.. My husband has a ticket to go back to the US the end of this month and his ticket would expire if he will not use it by that time coz it will be a year since he got it.. I contacted the Embassy by email but I got no reply til now..

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Vietnam

MY advice regarding the DCF process is never wait for anything. If he has gotten an approval letter then chances are you have a case number and can continue on with your process and get to scheduling an interview and doing your medical. Have a look at my thread here and get the number to call the embassy to get your case number and finish filling out your online forms so you can schedule your interview and get your medical done. You do not have to wait a full week between medical and interview.
