Okay, so I've been living in Jordan for 13 months with three visits to the U.S. so that I can file the I-130 for my husband from the U.S. And THEN I found out about DCF. I'm not sure if I qualify for it since I left the country 3 different times, one of the times it lasted from a month to two, I can't remember exactly. I've contacted the U.S. Embassy in Amman and they weren't much help.

Now, assuming I am eligible to file an I-130 for my husband via a DCF, should I do it? I filed the end of January in Texas and the I-130 still hasn't been approved. I'm not sure what I should do. I'm scheduled to go back to the States to secure a job and an apartment for when he comes in a week.

What should I do!?

Hi,

What visa are you on for your residence in Jordan? Were you on anything other then a tourist visa?

I found these numbers did you try and call any of these numbers? Or send an e-mail?

I'm not here on a visa, I have a Jordanian passport and I.D.

I called one number and they told me to call another. I called them and no answer so I left a message. I've also e-mailed numerous times but they're not answering my question or I'm just not understanding what they're saying. I keep asking them if it would work to do the I-130 from Jordan even though I've been out of the country 3 times and if it will be faster and they keep redirecting me to links about the I-130 and DCF that I've already read. So I thought you all might be able to help=/

Thanks for your time!

Hi,

I thought I read in another thread that someone had a passport of the country they wanted to do DCF in and they didn't have to do the 6 month wait like everyone else. But Im really not 100% sure. I would maybe ask if you can do the I-130 you have a Jordanian Passport are you able to do DCF.
