Dear all

My petition has been sent to the Consulate in Paris nearly 3 weeks ago, and I still haven't got packet 3. I called yesterday and all they said was that I should keep on waiting. My US fiancee said she will call her congressman ask him to put some pressure on the consulate. Will that work out? Is packet 3 usually so long to come?

Let me know....

Just relax, some consulates can take a while. I know that London had a several week backlog at some point. No doubt Paris is just as heavily used as London.

Paris is experiencing some problems in the visa unit right now. There is some info on their website that I saw earlier this week.

I wouldn't be having the Congressman put the pressure on them until you have all the information, but that's me.
