What is best CR-1 or K3? (in the case of K-1 denial)???

Greetings all VJ family,

What is the best way to go after K-1 denial?

CR-1 or K3?

When does the petition for K-1 expire? If I want to defend my k-1 for the second time? will it be expired by the time it makes to USCIS?

What is best for me to do? To to marry right away and file for CR-1 or K-3?

The congressman suggested I should get a lawyer, but I do not think that is necessary. What would a lawyer would advise me more than what is out here on VJ?

If you get married, then there is only one choice: CR-1 with K3. It is not possible to file K3 without the CR-1. However, it is possible to file CR-1 without K3 but there is no extra cost, so might as well. Typically, K3 are not processed, they are rolled into the CR-1 once approved but a few cases (K-3) have made it through the system before the CR-1 was approved.
