My grandparents both had perm resident status in the states for over 20 years before they decided to move back to china after their retirement.

My grandfather is ill, might not make it to the end of this year. If he does indeed not make it to the end of the year, I do not want to leave my grandmother alone in china. My question would be what the best route to take to get her back in the U.S?

Does her previous immigration status affect anything?

Is there any way to get her back in the states faster/easier than applying for a whole new immigration visa?

Thanks in advance.

Best route back - petition by US citizen child. 6-18 months for a visa.

Previous LPR status does not affect anything.

No. Petition by a USC child for an immigration is the fastest way.
