Hello,

My AP/EAD have been pending for 113 days now. I call the USCIS almost everyday and have called for the past 3 weeks, nothing seems to happen ,they always tell me to wait 4-5 more days and call back.

We have an info pass appointment for friday, does anyone have any experience with that? I hope it works and I could get my combo card soon.

Should we contact a congressman?

I have a flight ticket for april 9th to go back to home country, but i guess i just have to change the date for it..

This is really frustrating. I have never heard it taken this long for anyone.

I had one about my AOS application but it took us 7 days to answer to the RFE. And on the phone they said that should not have an effect for the processing times for EAD and AP. But who knows.

It has been 23 days more than the normal 90 days.

Hi, I'm having a similar experience. I filed at National Benefits Center, I waited 96 days, and my EAD and AP are still at Initial Review. This is so frustating, apparently now they are taking much more than usual. :( I went to the congresswoman today and they say they'll make a calll for me but can't guarantee anything. I'll let you know if it works, but you could try it too: at least it's nice to speak with someone who tries to understand and to help you, while talking to people of USCIS is often so infuriating! Good luck with your infopass meeting; let me know how it goes.

Good to know I'm not the only one who is having problems with USCIS.

We are thinking about calling our congressman today too! Let me know if your congresswoman got your case moving!

And I will let you know how the infopass goes, I hope it will be a success!

Good luck to you!!!!

I had my info pass today. It was pointless, I just heard all the same things that they tell on the phone I call USCIS.

Im a little disappointed but.. oh well.

Look up who your local congress person is, find their privacy release form, fill it out with details of your case with receipt numbers, include a copy of your stamped I-765 and request their assistance as it is taking longer than it should, then fax it to them and follow it up with a phone call. Then file a claim online with the CIS Ombudsman including what you sent your congress person as an attachment.

Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it!

We contacted our congressman yesterday and sent him the forms to his email. We will contact Ombudsman now too, thanks!

This is really weird, I have never heard this taking this long for anyone else??
