Hi,

I got specific question on the process of change of status. I applied for I-485, I-765 and advance parole all together 5 weeks ago. Received fingerprint notice last week and did a 'walk-in' the next day I received the notice. Now, after 1 week I called FBI to check the status they said they haven't received my fingerprint yet. I thought maybe the lady didn't enter my SSNs etc correctly, so I called them again today and I was told that they are not allowed to inform anything about the fingerprint to individual and I should ask USCIS for this. I noticed here that many people inquired before and knew their status from FBI.

So is there any change of rules in this procedure?

I called USCIS but they said they don't know anything and I should wait until the normal processing time (3 months) is over.

So any idea what should I do? Maybe I did a walk-in and that could be the reason USCIS/FBI is not processing my case at this point?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
