Hello Everybody,

1. My sister filed an I-130 for our parent, she is unemployed and listed as a my dependent on my most recent tax return, so I am planning on being the sponor; should I file i-864 as a joint sponsor or should I file i-864A (she lives in the same house)?

2. And if I have to file file as the joint sponsor; should she also file an I-864 as the main sponsor? If so, can we send both packages together?

3. If she has to file an I-864, does she list only list me on the other dependents list on her "household size"?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

she will fill out I-864 and you will fill out I-864A

BOTH papers will include you and hers tax returns/paystubs, and proof of citizenship, even if she made zero last year it doesn't matter

Remember not to count anyone TWICE in the household size.

Yes you can include both the forms and supporting documents in the same mailing envelope.
