Hi,

This is the situation, my dad received his Immigrant Visa to travel to the States back then since June 2013, we paid for the Immigrant Fee of $165 via ELIS, something got wrong with the ELIS, the payment didn't go through, Dad arrived in the US on December 2013, we received an email from USCIS to contact the USCIS Debt Management Center in Burlington, we contacted them send them the check of $165 for the Immigrant fee on Januray 7th, 2014, they contacted us a week later that the payment was received.

We waited..

On February 5th, 2014, we received another email from USCIS that the payment via the ELIS wasn't complete, I called the USCIS and the Debt Management Center to resolve the issue that I already send the check of $165 back then in January to resolve the issue. The Officer said not to worry and send the the Late Filing Fee of $30, a couple days after, the $30 was deducted from my Bank Account.

On February the 7th, I sent a request for update information on the GC Production and the process to the USCIS, receieved an email from USCIS, Texas Center that "The payment of $165 was post correctly and please allow 60 days to receive the GC", which the dealine should be on April 8th, 2014.

I know it only has been a month, but we need the Actual GC desperately because my Dad wants to go back to visit my mother in another country.

I wanted to know that how long it would be able to take to receive the GC?

Should I keep calling the USCIS for the update?

Thank you

Your father's endorsed immigrant visa serves as temporary proof of a green card for up to one year, so he is able to travel and work using that.

In your position I would contact one of my congressional representatives to get the green card payment issue straightened out.
