Thanks for the help you have been to me as well I hope to share the same good news in a couple or few months too.

What questions does the Consular ask during the interview besides asking for the documents listed on the checklist? Since you know about our situation, do you think it would be best if I attended the interview with my fiancé. Does the Consular make a big deal about the petitioner not being there? Others have told me that it is not required.

They didn't ask me specifically for any additional paperwork even though I had plenty of extra paperwork just in case. The consul asked me when we met, when we started the relationship, when was the last time I went to visit him and something about my fingerprints since I had a little bit of a problem with them. I saw two other k-1 petitioners there that day both alone without their fiancé, I went by myself too and they never asked a question about that (but he did travel recently to Guatemala for the holidays so maybe they saw that) I didn't hear the other interviews but it depends what they see in your file to question you about specific things! So I can't tell you what they will ask, but the consul was really nice overall everyone was super nice! Any other questions you have don't worry I'll answer them!
