Just in case...passport question

Hi guys,

So we haven't gotten approved or anything but I'm just wondering my husband did an iraqi passport and the name spelling is wrong in english its not the same as the spelling on the I-130, will this cause a problem?

Will they even need the Iraqi passport to travel if he did get his visa? or will they even need it for the interview etc.?

Its been a year since submitting I-130 and were still in two different countries :sleepy:

No. Post your questions in the iraqi sub forum. You might garner the response you're looking for.

But you can't have a different passport name and different visa name. You're going ti experience problems down the line so get it corrected.

Yes they will need his passport. The visa is placed in the passport. Visa comes in Passport name, Green Card comes in Visa name.

Fix his passport if it is incorrect. ASAP.

Its the same name, but different spelling...will this cause a problem?
