Hi everyone,

Just trying to get some advise in my case if possible.

I submitted my I-485 forms and the forms for the EAD card last January, after the Bio-metrics I received the EAD card approval and the actual card on mail.

Now, I am just wondering what are the changes of getting the AOS approved after they approved the EAD card? I am wondering as in 2011 I had a problem with my H1-B visa, they lawyer I had working on the case didn't submit the paperwork on time for the renewal and I have an Out of Status letter saying that I have being denied for the H1-B visa because of the late submit, but the same day I received a I-797C form approving the H1-B visa.

My lawyer said that I was good to go for 3 years because we have the approval...

The time out of status was 53 days.

With that being said, anyone have had any issues like this and get any problems with the AOS?

Please advise, thank you all!
