Hey guys,

Few questions:

1) My wife is adjusting from K-1, sent in paperwork in November '13, received notice a few weeks ago that we "qualify for interview waiver." Is everyone that gets that notice not interviewed?

2) I may be starting an MBA program in the fall (need to see in a few weeks how decisions pan out). If I do that I'll have to forgo income for a few years. If they do interview us (rather than just send the GC), should I send in a new I-864 with my parents and brother as co-sponsors. Can I just bring a new form and proof if they do that?

I'll also have to move cities, does that put as at the back of the line?

3) My wife was just approved for AP and will hopefully get it in week or two...we got married within 90 days (within 2 weeks actually); no overstay, and she never overstayed any visa. Anything else we should bring with us to travel other than that and her passport (marriage certificate?) ?

My hope is everything is approved in the next few months but just want to be prepared for whatever happens.

Thanks for the advice in advance!

You will most likely be approved without interview, since you received the waiver letter. In the unlikely event that you get an interview after all, bring an updated I-864 and one from a joint sponsor with all supporting documentation just in case they ask for it.

If you move, then put in for a change of address. It does not affect the speed of your AOS processing. http://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

Have the plane ticket match her name in the passport. Bring the AP, passport and copy of marriage certificate.
