Almost correct. Fixxor'd wink.png

I cancelled at least 3 times maybe more and she was able to get her interview yesterday without any problems.

2014/1/28 Sent I129f application

2014/1/31 USCIS received petition
2014/2/12 I129f approved
2014/2/15 NOA2 hard copy recieved in mail
2014/02/21 MNL case # received, administrative processing
2014/02/25 in transit to US Embassy Manila
2014/02/26 Paid Visa fee and scheduled Interview

2014/03/11 Medical Evaluation
2014/03/18 Interview date *APPROVED*

I didnt think it would be this quick. We just gotta wait for the VISA to be mailed to her house and then the CFO seminar.

Well I am not sure how you dodged the bullet, but the embassy website states very clearly otherwise.

Excerpt:

Please plan your visa application accordingly to avoid problems securing an interview appointment. Even though nonimmigrant visa fees are valid for one calendar year, options to schedule an appointment are limited. Applicants are only allowed to reschedule twice (not including the initial appointment) without penalty. If the second rescheduling attempt is canceled, an applicant will only be allowed to reschedule a new date after a waiting period of 90 calendar days.

11/17/14= interview letter received
12/16/14= Interview "APPROVED"
12/24/14= GC on hand

- November 15th, 2013: Check was Cashed


- November 15th, 2013: NOA1 e-mail notification (TSC) smile.png


- November 21st, 2013: NOA1 Hard Copy arrived. (Official Notification Date - Nov 14th)


- November 21st, 2013: Alien Registration Number Changed


- February 7th, 2014: NOA2 received by text & email!! (85 days from NOA1 to NOA2) dancin5hr.gif heart.gif


- February 13th, 2014 (14th in Philippines...Happy Valentine's Day Surprise Babe!!rose.gif heart.gif ): I-129F shipped to Dept. of State to receive visa #


- February 14th, 2014: NOA2 hardcopy received.... Happy Valentine's Day!


- February 21st, 2014: NVC assigns visa number. Can now schedule online, interview for fiance at US Embassy


- February 24th, 2014: Now have interview date!! (May 5, 2014 @ 7:30 am)


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Fiance finished medical exam & vaccinations (all in one early & long day) @ St. Luke's & passed


- February 25th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): US Embassy - Manila (USEM) receives our case & is READY for interview


- February 26th, 2014 (26th in Philippines): Able to reschedule for a March 12th interview date! Whoo Hoo!!

Hi all! I am nervous about canceling my fiancé interview to re-schedule to try and get an earlier date. Is there anyway to cancel and see if there are earlier dates? He currently has an interview on May 16, but we have been trying to get an earlier appointment. Any help would be great!

IF.....IF there were an earlier date available it would show up on the left side of the dashboard, you do NOT have to cancel your current appointment to see this.. being you see nothing there are NO appointments available. I think there are a great number that would "kill" to have an appointment date for the middle of May.

Well yes, but considering that we have been approved since February 20 and waiting on just the interview we have been wishing that we could get an earlier interview.

Still doesn't change the fact that a May 16th appointment is very good, all things considered.... like hundreds are waiting for JULY to become available, just so they can get an interview date at all.
