Hey,

I would like to get some information from the ones smarter than me regarding that issue.

We married with my husband on March, 31, 2004, in NY State.

Due to certain bureocracy issues we are still waiting...apart.

When I got married, then my daughter was 15. Today she is 18.

As I have understood when we will come with K3 and K4 visas respectively....then somewhere during the President Bush time there was a law adopted that cancelled the aging out issue...so my daughter can come with me, for during our wedding she was under 18.

But my question is directed more towards the following adjustment of status there - from somewhere I remember reading as if a child in her age....should have here AOS process completed before she will be 21 and in this case she can stay with us in the States. Is it correct? (But, if it IS now correct, I have also read that from submission of AOS documents to its completion, there may be up to 2 years...well, in the most negative scenario, and positive would of course go much quicker...) -

(I cannot deny, although I speak positive over her, it is a bit of a tender issue to me, although we still seem to have time...but as the time keeps ticking, it would be real good to know a bit more about this, whether she would be safe. - For without her I do not want to go and live in the States...and my husband would understand that too...of course. - Yet it is his home land and at some point in his life he would still want to live there....and it has been kinda trying to wait these 2 years and 9 months....for things to happen....anyway - and then when being with little babies for sure by then, I of course would not look forward to spending much time alone....having to take care of all...). So it is the wisest decision to get it all done now, once and forever, so as not to have any longer in future apart.
