May 28: I-485 status changed to "testing & interview" on USCIS website.


June 25: EAD Card in production (YAY)


July 2: Received COMBO card.


July 2: Applied for SSN

ok i just learned that a checking account is an asset how much he needs to have in his checking account to supplement his income? and do you need to prove it?

supplement his 34700 for 5 people

Hes missing 287 and multiply it by 5 = 1435

Yes, of course you need to prove it. You need to provide proof of ownership and value of the assets you claim. I have said this before, but it needs to be said again... please read through the I-864 instructions. You ask many questions, sometimes more than once, and the answers are already provided in the instructions. Assets are on page 7 > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864instr.pdf
