So, David Koch wants to donate $100m of his own money to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, to fund the construction of a new ambulatory care center and the SEIU can only protest and demand the hospital turn down the money. Are they nuts?

Absolutely -- there are a lot of intelligent, literate participants here.

But it is being used to improve the quality of healthcare, so the smart thing for the union to do would be to support the idea, the hospital and the community it serves. This donation will create construction work, new hospital jobs, and revenue for the local community. And in New York, the vast majority of those jobs will be union.

Instead, the SEIU are showing their true colours as a political organisation, rather than one that represents its members' interests. That, in turn, only solidifies the opinion that the big unions are now just revenue generators for the Democrat party and serve no other purpose.

That pic is not tasteless.. From the expression on that young liberal man's face, it is obvious that he is enjoying the taste of the bountiful fruit that Obama has bestowed upon him.. Perhaps he lives in Colorado where Marijuana is legal and he is displaying his joyfulness in the decision from Eric Holder and Obama who continue to ignore and refuse to enforce federal laws and continue to promote income equality thru social programs...

Im wondering... if marijuana is a herb, a nutritionally valuable food, can he use his EBT card to buy it.?
