Not sure where to post thisoops8rh.gif

Need some input about a bone of contention between my husband and I. Before he came to the U.S he made aware of the fact that he needed to send money home to help his family, understood and fine with it. Only one parent alive (mother) When we talked it was the agreement that the amount would be around the $200 range. Now he wants to send one full paycheck a month home, averages about $400, isn't that a bit too much?? I get upset about it because on one hand, I know its hard for his family to find work, however seems since he started sending money ...no one is working except one sister The family size is 5, I'm also sure other family members (married and out of the house) contribute a small amount like food.

Am I being unreasonable??!!!

his paycheck, or yours?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

No you are not unreasonable. He needs to take care of his obligations here first before even thinking about secondary obigations. You are at fault though for not making this all clear before. Sounds like you both need to sit and talk it out before it flares up to a point of no return.

Not at all. The amount of money is not the issue at hand. It is that he broke the agreement both of you understood.

Does he get 2 or 4 paychecks a month?
