I-129f expiration

Hi all,

Our I-129f was approved on September 13th and Gary sent in his packet 3 info before the holidays (he may have just sent the checklist, actually, but after reading Adman's post I'll be sure he corrects that). Given the 4 month validity of an I-129f, ours will expire next week. Does anyone know if the London consulate automatically extends the I-129f, or do I need to email them to make sure that our case proceeds smoothly? Assuming I need to email them, what kind of identification info will they need?

Thanks,

Elizabeth

Timeline

Hi there,

I called the 'help'line number yesterday regarding this, as mine is due to expire on 16th February.

After a short wait, I was told that if I hadnt received an interview date, by a couple of weeks before the expiration date, I should contact them to ask for an extension and provide another Letter of Intent from my fiance (usc).

Ive read on the boards that some embassys automatically extend the date, upon nearing expiration, and Im sure that if I got through to a different operator , my instructions may be totally different, so call them ASAP and good luck.
