Hi everyone! I just POE'd via SFO airport March 15. The CBP officer stamped my passport with an admission stamp labeled 'DHS-US CBP', a red stamp indicating my admission date as March 15 2014, then he wrote 'K1' inside the stamp but for the 'until' date, he wrote June 01, 2014. This is 2 weeks less than the 90 days allowed by law.

My questions. 1. Will this be an issue when we file for AOS? 2. Is this stamp on my passport the I-94? I thought the I-94 is now electronic and downloadable from the CBP website?

Thanks for your replies.

Passport stamp is not I-94, you can print your I-94 from the website above.

My wife came to US on 03/08 and her expiration date is 6/05/2014. We printed her I-94 the next day.

You just need to marry within 90 days ( it seems that you have to marry before the date on your passport stamp) and then file AOS.

What information is needed to be able to print the I-94? Also, is there an expiration date for printing this downloadable I-94? I don't have a printer at the temporary place we have. My fiance's printers are in storage and we won't get those until after the marriage and only after we pick up the stored items from Seattle and drive back to SF on a Ryder van.

You need to enter your name, DOB, passport number, country of passport, date of entry to US, class of admission to get I-94.

They will show I-94 number, admit until date , your name, passport number, country of passport, date of entry to US, class of admission.

Just go to UPS and print it out. I had tried multiple times to see the record because CBP entered her name to their system is the same way on her passport ( not the way it shows on her visa).

For Vietnam, the name will display Last Middle First name on passport, her visa displays Last First Middle name.

Nope, won't be an issue. Just make sure to get married within the 90 days.

The I-94 is online, you will need a copy for AOS.

Hi, thanks for all of the above info. I was able to retrieve my I-94 arrival card online. Thank goodness CBP got the info correct in their database, though I didn't see my middle name on there. And the 'admit until' date on the I-94 is June 12, 2014, not the June 1, 2014 date the immigration officer wrote down.

Should you require name correction on your I-94, you will need to get it corrected at a CBP Deferred Inspection Station:

I'm not sure I need to 'correct' my name as it's one of the permutations of my name that I included on my I-129F and G-325A forms submitted to both the USCIS and US Embassy.
