Hi Everyone,

I received a notice from USCIS stating that my application is rejected because I didn't sign where i supposed to sign on a particular form. My package was returned along with the rest of the forms. They asked me to make the correction and resubmit the package. My question is, Should I just correct the mistake on the form that had the error or should I do a new application package and resubmit it. You respond will be highly appreciated.

When did you submit the application? If that is the only issue which is the signature then you don't have to fill out new forms. Just sign the form/s and re-send to them. My husband submit application Monday 3/10/14, until now we don't have NOA1 yet.

Sorry about what happen to you. The same time happen to us to my wife made a mistake and sign at the wrong place on her G-325A form and all the whole package was send back to her to re-submit it when the correction is made. For that reason, we lost our first Priority date so take note the same thing will happen to you too and they will assign a new case number to you with a different PD. Now over to ur question if you will fill another form... Yes, fill another different form and sign @ the right place and remember to sign with a blue pen not with black ink. After that, send everything back to them. Remeber also that you dont have to make another payment. I wish you good luck....

Pls try and be very carful not to get another RFE again from USICS because the more you keep getting RFE it will dealy ur petition. Make sure both you and ur spouse or ur fiance sign with blue ink USICS what to see that those forms are original and not scan. I hope you will understand what am saying. I was going to scan my G-325A to my wife but I find out USICS want my original signature so I have to fill it and sign it and then send it to my wife through FEDEX.... Always ask question here on VJ alot of people are on here who will surely help you out.... Good luck once again.

Just fix the form with the mistake and look over the other forms to make sure they are all correct.

No need to sign in blue ink, so people should not worry if they signed with black ink. The I-129F form instructions actually state to fill it out with black ink.

I just ratified the error and I am all set to send it back in on Monday. I only had mistake on a single form but I have corrected it. I don't know how long it is going to take after I resubmit on Monday to get NOA2. Any idea regarding getting NOA after re submission? It took me a week to receive NOA but I don't whether it will delay when I resubmit on Monday

OK guys just to get you updated, I resubmitted my AOS and got NAO1 via text msg and email stating that my I-130, I-485 and I-765 have been accepted and routed to NBC for processing. They stated that I will receive a hard copy of my official receipt between 7-10 days. I was also instructed to check my case status when form I-797 arrive. At least, I am at ease a little because this process is really stressful. With God above we will prevail!!! Also, how long does it takes to get biometric appointment after receiving Form I-797?
