Hi newbie,

My PD is Aug2013 too, but i'm waiting for my case to be completed.

If your case was completed last march 24,2014 and no visa interview schedule yet, why is it no schedule its been more than two months already? Did you ask NVC regarding this? If yes what was the instructions given to you?

Do you guys have any idea when the vb will move? Seems like it didnt move at all. It advance 1 yr and 9 months last august 2013 then got stuck for 7months, now, it retrogressed 1yr and 4months. See? If you really analyzed it, it hasnt move at all.

can anyone explain to me what does mean retrogression ? I have never seen that..... if you could please estimate the average time to get the Immigrant VISA through F2A.

awesome, if people with pd 7/2012 got il, vb has started moving. Predictions about vb going back to 9/8/2013 in october seem more real now.

retrogression will affect any case along any path at any office regardless of the casefile status.

case complete at NVC? Retrogression hit? Must to wait.

My PD is June 29th, I hope your friend's PD is not a one off and the July bulletin will maybe move forward 1-2 months at least.

I am just waiting for case complete this week, lets hope this news is true.

If the guy with PD July 2012 received Interview letter, then this is a good news for all of us. After Retrogression...F2A is moving forward straight from the next month ......and that also by 2 months......I thought it would either retrogress further to Jan 2012 or stay still...and we would see no movement by Oct VB,.....Now that from next month it started moving forward is a good news to all F2A filers.....Atleast we r not going back...its moving forward and that also not by a margin of 2-4 weeks ...straight by 8 weeks.....so we all should cheer for this and hope it reaches 2013 soon.....Good luck all my F2A fellows.....

yea ...but the problem is that you don't know what the demand data is.....in other words how many people are there with a 2012 PD who are waiting for CC or IL? There are also people with 2011 PD who are just getting to CC....

Besides just because someone with a July 2012 PD gets an interview, that in itself doesn't move the VB forward....all it means is that they will have an interview, their PD wont be current = NO VISA AVAILABLE! So even if their case is approved at the interview, they will not be issued a visa.....

so I hate to burst your bubble, but we are not out of the woods yet with respect to a further retrogression.

I suppose the good news is that the leadership at DOS has not hinted at a further retrogression in the F2A ROW category.
