And another beauty is VSC still stuck on Sep 25,2013 on our NOA 2 while others TSC,CSC are processing within 5 months!!

I should have just posted from a California address and put a CA address. Still not a guarantee but beats submitting from NY I am sure...

One quick info....earlier. USCIS had processing times as of April 30 2014 ...... Now with the new processing times dates as published yesterday. ... Now it has changed to May 31 2014........

USCIS National Goal - 5.0 Month(s)

USCIS National Average - 5.4 Month(s)

Vermont Service Center - 8.3 Month(s)

Effective as of: May 31, 2014

So now let's hope that with new fiscal year at least VSC move the dates forward ....stuck to Sep 25 2013

I am starting to think VSC will start processing only when PD day moves forward. With a 2 year gap I find that unlikely. The real question is why CSC is behaving differently...

I think by the end of this year they would start processing, my b by Oct or Nov of this year....... Another thing is CSC has nothing to do with VSC coz the petitions filed r routed to these Service centers by USCIS ..... So they process according to petitions received .... There was one time when VSC was fast n they approved within 4-5 months while CSC was very slow..... Now it's the reverse.... So just hope for d best

Family Second Preference "A" (FB2A) Likely to Advance Soon

Chief Oppenheim predicts that the long-stagnant FB2A cutoff dates will move forward in September 2014. As of the August 2014 Visa Bulletin, the FB2A cutoff date stands at March 15, 2011 for Mexico, and May 1, 2012 for all other countries of chargeability. In the upcoming September 2014 Visa Bulletin, these dates could advance, "possibly as far as late fall 2012."

If your husband is a citizen, you PD is current, which means that as soon as your petition is approved and the process completed, your visa will be available. There is no wait for spouses of US citizens.

I called NVC and asked for Invoice number. They gave me both, Invoice number and Beneficiary Number.

Later they said: "But you cannot do anything with it".

But still I tried to login with NVC Case Number and Invoice number, but I am

.receiving a message : "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

I think if they invoice it, we must be able to pay it.

Are they blocking it purposely ? Is there anything we can do to activate the option ?

Dont panic. There can b two reasons...either they are updating your details n case in system,if so u will b able to logged in after 2-3 days from you receive IIN n case number. Another reason is that due to non current PD,they are not allowing people to move ahead in process.

Your case is not eligible for further processing that's why you're getting that message.

You can check it everyday though, in case it might suddenly become available.
