And yes, the topic title is very sarcastic. Javier was hit by a drunk driver last night while he was crossing the street. Fortunately, because he was paying attention, he was able to get partially out of the way and because of that, he's ok now. When something like this happens, you just kind of stop and realize how ridiculous this whole separation is. To think that he could die or whatever and I'll never see him again for no good reason kind of pisses me off. But we are obviously very thankful that he is ok. All we can do is continue to hope and pray that we are both brought through this separation and that we will in fact see each other again some day.

Don't let the sunshine spoil your rain...just stand up and COMPLAIN!

He was very lucky! Did the idiot drunk at least get a ticket or something?

The driver was arrested and at least spent last night in jail, but I don't know what's going to end up happening to him. They had to pay for Javier to go to be examined at the doctor.

March 4th: APPROVED

March 17th: NVC posted file to London

March 20th: London Receives file

March 29th: Receive package 3

April 13th: London Receives package

April 19th: Medical - June 13th: INTERVIEW......APPROVED!!!!

June 20th: ARRIVE IN USA

Time taken for whole process 9 Months

November 3rd: NOA1

November 14th: Snail mail ~ NOA1 ~ Case moved to the CSC for faster processing.

November 14th : CSC has petition for me and my daughter.

January 17th: APPROVED AOS!

January 22nd: Green card arrives in the mail:))

Time taken for AOS - 3.5 Months

Finished for 2 years.
