Congratulations.........

So what happened? What was your experience vs what you anticipated/prepared for :-)

Enjoy the time as you don't have to worry about this ever again.........

The story is like this.

The officer called us without any greetings.

Made us take the oath and started question.

Most of the questions were shot to my wife.

She was smiling the whole time while answering.

Just asked each of us about other's name , date of birth , address , how did we meet , where did we marry all those thing.

Surprising thing is - all of a sudden he asked me about cricket !

How the hell he could know that i used to play cricket while i was in my MS university ?

The person is very clever and one thing matched my anticipation.

He shot very thin stare during the whole interview and never smiled.

Right after asking me about cricket - I realized that every single move of me in USA is in his file.

He asked for joint bill , lease etc. We told - we are staying right now in my father-in-law's house/ So all bills and leases are issued to his name.

Then wanted to see our pictures.

Possibly he liked those.

Our pictures were very natural and care free homely fun pictures , some times with pajamas and Ts.

Then he said - well , I am going to approve your case and it will be updated within 3 hours.

Final stage of surprise - He asked me 'Do you have any question ?'

It was beyond my anticipation.

We told - 'We thought we are persons supposed to be asked questions. We did not think that we would be also allowed to ask questions.'

He smiled.

And asked 'Do you have any question ?'

Then I said about my job start issues pending due to Green Card.

After listening my problem - he smiled and said - 'I knew you have problem'.

And he suggested me to take an infopass in 26 Federal plaza within 1 week and meet him again to get the I-151 stamp.

Then asked - 'Any problem ?'

This time also was a problem.

I bought my ticket with a return flight on March 13. So I can't wait for 1 week.

I told about my ticket issue.

This time also he said - 'I knew you have problem'.

I am damn sure - the officer knows about every single move I ever made in USA.

My job , my favorite game cricket , my return flight is on March 13 - every single thing he knew already , just pretended to not to know.

While he took us out of the room , lastly he said - 'Good Luck' with a beautiful smile !

Better to make you all know - The officer was someone senior - I assume. I am saying it because of his age.

I think his family is originated from Caribbean Islands.
