how long will take CAEC status change to 'in transit' from at NVC? mine under mumbai consulate.interview on 5/5/2014..

status is still 'at NVC'.

Our interview is on 5/29/13 at Mumbai consulate. Our ceac status still shows NVC.

update when it is changed please...

I don't think they would've scheduled interviews if they were expecting retro on May. now the question is when to expect retro June or July. Hope it is later.

Question what happens if you get G221 and don't obtain visa in May and in June there is retro?

July 11, 2013 - NOA 1

September 12, 2013 - Transfer to Nebraska

September 20, 2013 - Case touched

November 14, 2013 - NOA 2

Case shipped to DOS - November 19, 2013

NVC Stage

December 11, 2013 - NVC received my case

December 30, 2013 - NVC case number issued

January 2, 2013 - NVC issued invoice number

January 13, 2013 - DS261 filled out

January 15, 2013 - AOS invoice received and paid

January 17, 2013 - AOS package sent

January 21, 2014 - Fed ex delivered package (NVC confirmed receipt on 22nd)

January 21, 2014 - IV fee invoice received and paid

January 22, 2014 - IV documents sent (payment in process but cleared from bank)

January 23, 2014 - submitted DS260 form, iv documents delivered per fedex (24th per NVC)

February 12, 2014 - received fake checklist for IV package

Personally, I think if that happens you need to wait for your PD to be current again. As what i understand no one is safe from retrogression unless the visa is issued. I read from other threads they had the interview already but their PD is not current so they had to wait.

I also want to know from whats happening 6-8months from sept 2013 dont you consider this as retrogression already? I think they will not confirm the retrogression or backward the date on the bulletin because a lot of people will react so badly and call NVC if that happens. It might create problem right? Im being positive here I think their waiting for the new fiscal year and move the date forward :)
