March Case Complete waiting for IL

My case was completed on March 11 as per by phone inquiry to NVC, now waiting for CC email and IL email as well,

Got Checklist Cover Letter on 03/04/2014. I first was worried of yet another checklist but the message did not specify any missing documents but actually confirms everything was complete.

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________
The NVC has received the information you submitted and placed it in your case file. You will be
contacted when your petition is sent to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for further processing

And then on 03/10/2014 got the Case Complete email "The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing
of your case."

So if somebody receives a Checklist Cover Letter like I did don't worry it is a pre case complete and you will soon receive the CC email. this is what happened to us. Good luck every one and hope we'll receive the Interview letter soon!!!

No it's not necessary to receive that Checklist and good if you did not receive it because it scared the hell out of me when I saw the email subject

"CHECKLIST COVER LETTER". I really thought it was a second CHECKLIST after we have responded with all required dox to the first one. Thank god it wasn't

because it would mean another delay and knowing that retrogression is likely to happen around July/August, I was really scared and wish I just received the CC mail.

My case got completed last March 14 by phone inquiry and waiting for IL. Hope retrogression would not affect our case.

Visa cutoff dates usually move forward, as applicants receive visas -- but sometimes they move backwards. If a lot of people apply after a certain Priority Date is published the State Department gets overwhelmed, and needs to put on the brakes. It does this by moving the Priority Date in that particular visa category backward.

Unless by some chance you already got through the system and were granted a visa or green card, youe case can go nowhere until the Priority Date moves forward again.
