Police: Teenage girls use knife to force autistic boy to perform sex acts

(CNN) -- Two Maryland teenage girls were charged this week with assaulting an autistic boy and recording him on their cell phones performing sex acts, including some with animals, the St. Mary County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday.

Authorities said the two girls, ages 17 and 15, admitted to police that they assaulted the boy, 16, with a knife on "multiple occasions."

"His parents refer to him as (having) been diagnosed autistic," said Sgt. Cara Grumbles, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office. "Some of the sexual acts involved animals. It's awful."

where were the parents of this boy? If you have a child that is special needs how is it that he was accosted several times with out a parent or responsible party looking out for him? Where is the rest of the story that should be there.... as in why wasn't the family of the boy investigated for neglect? Where were the parents of the girls? They have so much free time unsupervised that they can terrorize a special needs child?

When ever I attend my little sisters sports games i see parents trying to be their child's friend instead of the parent they should be............I know at some point kids have to grow and be independent but some where along the line all three of these kids got let down by their parents

Though I am in no way attempting or intending to take away from the horror this poor boy endured. I hope these girls go away for a long, long time.

I think with a knife and a 16 year old Autistic kid involved, there would be no questions about what the victim was wearing or how drunk she was if it was a female.
