Ok, this morning I called Saint Lukes, you can take some test for Medical Examination if u have ur period but not the urine testing and PE. If u will have it on the day of ur medical, u will take some test and go back next week for a urine testing, u can still take the interview.

Well that is good news, but sure it would be better too finish it will in the 2-day exam. As long as you can complete your interview, but what will they do if your exam is not completed. Hold your visa till completed?

hi im from iligan city too! me and the other girls here will go this 25th for our med exam.. my period is at the end of the month so ill have it a week before im also praying, i wont get a cough haha, it's raining now adays...good exercise and a healthy diet plus vit C

Yeah Iligan is a great city! We are not sure if we can do it early, but if not she can meet u there. where u staying? I know she will meet up with her friend from CDO also there.

I will have my medical exam next week. I will go on the schedule given by USE. I want to ask if they will postponed/rescheduled the ME if there's a monthly period.

I advice you to go there w/o ur mothly period bec in physical exam u must take off all ur clothes including your underwear and lying on bed open ur 2 legs infront of the doctor. The doctor take a look on your private and ask u to open ur ####### ewwwww!!! can u imagine that?

Since the procedure was so uncomfortable..may i know how long the doctor stays infront of your 2 open legs? is there an incident that a male doctor check the female patient? I'll be not at ease if that happens..and if so is it too much to ask for a female doctor to check me?

when i had the exam in 2004, all females had female doctors. and the vaginal and ####### exam didn't take too long....less than a minute for these two. you go behind a curtain, take everything off, then lay down and the doctor presses on your tummy, looks for scars on your wrists (suicide attempts), and then asks you to spread the legs, then turn over and spread your butt cheeks. then it was all done.

My Fiancee wants to know where you pay for the exam.

She will pay at St. Lukes on the day of the exam. It's $95 but must be paid in the equivalent in pesos.

I guess I'm lucky I got a nice doctor. She didn't ask me to spread my legs and my butt cheeks. Although she did take a quick peep there while i was lying on my side with my knees touching my chest.

she asked me to take all my clothes including my underwear she look my private part in a glance then she told me let me see your back, then lying in bed, she examined my 2 eyes, my breast and asked to open my legs, she looked my private part and my #######, she stays infront of me less than 1 minute dont worry she look at it in a glance!

I checked Manila Embassy website for my parents' interview date and it will be on Feb 6th at 6:30 AM. However, the medical appointment is also Feb 6th at 12:00 AM. I don't think St. Lukes is open at midnight.

I did not receive an appoinment letter for the medical just for the interview at the embassy. Is there a separate appointment letter for the medical? Please anyone help.

I think we have seen this problem before and it's really 12PM (noon). There is no separate letter for the St. Luke's medical. The date they give you will be one week before the interview but you can go early of you prefer. Actually I don't think there is a real "appointment" at St. Lukes, they just give you a date for that.
