I just had my medical exam yesterday & today January 4-5, 2007... earlier than my schedule, I just want to thanks God! Everything went fine.

We have the same issue as you, maybe we can call St. Lukes too ask them that. But need too call them on Monday.

Let us know if you will call them. it we call we will tell u also. Our medical or interview dates are so close.

She lives in Iligan city in Mindanao, the plan so far is too go too her medical on time if she will not need too go early. That is why we are asking if we should go early due too needing too fly there. Sure we can PM you if we she will go earlier.

I advice you to go there w/o ur mothly period bec in physical exam u must take off all ur clothes including your underwear and lying on bed open ur 2 legs infront of the doctor. The doctor take a look on your private and ask u to open ur ####### ewwwww!!! can u imagine that?

What the heck?? I had my exam 3 weeks ago and I swear no doctor looked at my private. I had to first of all answer some questions that he asked me, then he asked me to get undressed but ONLY down to my underwear. He then examined my body from back and front. He listened to my chest/lungs, etc. He checked my reflexes - everything that they do for a basic physical. Then I had my blood taken. After that, I went and had a chest x-ray done. That was it!

So I wonder why some people have to show their private and whatever else? that's not right. What goes for one should go for all.

I also had my medical three weeks ago and no looking into my private parts. I did have to go from the doctor filling out the forms/asking questions, and checking you up all the way to another hospital to get my blood work done and then yet to another hospital for chest and heart x-ray and then back to the first doctor. It was quite a hassle especially with the blood work where for something that took mere 10 seconds to do I had to wait with all other people for over an hour

St Lukes is the only accredited hospital by USE, I dont know why the doctor need to inspect our private parts, but it is the normal process of medical exam here in the Philippines, 1st day Physical exam and you have to back the 2nd day for vaccination...

the doctors at st. luke's are looking for anything....anything at all to delay you getting your visa. they look for signs of suicide, see if you have given birth and ask you multiple times in multiple ways if you ever had a child (to check if you're lying). then they also ask psychological questions to see if you are mentally stable...####### like that. i had a "normal" exam, but i met several ladies there who were asked to see a psychologist (cause they were "unstable"), one had lots of stretch marks so they asked her if she were lying about giving birth, and one that was coughing and had to go back for sputum tests. it's like they don't want anyone to leave the philippines...secretly i think they are just jealous. oh well i didn't mean to rant off but that's the way it goes.

for all those who are about to get their PE's, don't worry about it. as long as you go when you're not coughing or have your monthly you will be ok. just tough it out when they ask you to spread your legs and behind!! to be fair, the doctor i got was real professional about it, so i wasn't too embarrassed.

They might not allow the exam if you have your MP. You should go early if you can, otherwise it could delay your interview too.

Ok, this morning I called Saint Lukes, you can take some test for Medical Examination if u have ur period but not the urine testing and PE. If u will have it on the day of ur medical, u will take some test and go back next week for a urine testing, u can still take the interview.

hi im from iligan city too! me and the other girls here will go this 25th for our med exam.. my period is at the end of the month so ill have it a week before im also praying, i wont get a cough haha, it's raining now adays...good exercise and a healthy diet plus vit C
