I suppose this wouldn't be half as frustrating if the officer conducting the interview didn't tell us that we would hear something within 15-days at the latest after the interview. ClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gifClockWatch2.gif As of today we are at the 56-day mark post interview and no one knows anything.

Ugh.... our status updated date on the CEAC site has stopped changing as of Feb-18th as well. Wonderful stuff, people....blah! Wish I could just go there and process our case myself! Ha haa! That would be awesome! I'm sure everyone sitting in Administrative Review feels the same

I did contact my congressman a day or two ago to see if they could investigate further. Who knows how that will go. Has anyone else done this? If so, what was the result? (Just trying to kill some time here as you can see goofy.gif )

Well, FWIW, I just faxed, and e-mailed my "Permission to work on my behalf" letter to my congressman's office. We'll see. The woman who contacted me from there was VERY knowledgable about the whole K-1 process. Which amazed me. So, we'll see if anything comes of it.

Actually YES. I got an e-mail from her late Friday night stating that my case isn't in any sort of SPECIAL processing at the NVC, it's just taking a while to do the NORMAL processing. They assured her that it ALWAYS takes them 2-4 weeks to process cases, and since mine is in the window for that, there's nothing they can do for her.

(So, I used the VJ searches, and gathered a bunch of evidence that they're lying, and sent that to her. We'll see if she takes them to task for the untruths, or just lets it go).

And TODAY, my case is freed from it's bondage at the NVC. It could be a coincidence, or it could be that my congressman's immigration person contacting them caused them to get on it. Either way, I'm free now, and I made it in time.

Yayyyyyyyy!! Congrats! Hopefully the rest of your journey is smoooooth sailing from here on out ;-) We still haven't heard a darn thing but on the plus side, the CEAC website "status updated date" changed to today's date so as far as I'm concerned, any progress is good progress!
