RFE for EAD (AOS pending) - longer wait?

Hello everyone,

two weeks ago I received a RFE considering my I-765, which I sent together with my I-485 (AOS from K-1) in December.

The reason I got a RFE was because they wanted me to provide my physical address (since I've been using our PO Box as our mailing address), together with a letter requesting USCIS to use a different mailing address if necessary. I send a letter stating our physical (home) address and the request for using our PO Box as our mailing address (which they've been doing from the start), including a statement from the post-office that both addresses are connected to each other in our names.

On March 10th I received a notice that they received my response to the RFE and that the NBC will process it from here on. It says I should expect a written decision or written update within 60 days from that date. However, I've been waiting for 3 months now already and I wasn't expecting it to take this long to receive my EAD (or RFE in this case).

I haven't been able to work for MONTHS now, just like many others that came on this visa, but some days it's really getting the best of me not being able to do anything.

Those 60 days seem very long from now and I really hope it will be within a few weeks instead at the most. *sigh* sleep.png

Has anyone had a RFE of this kind before and how long did it actually take for you to receive your EAD after they received your response?

Is there anyone with just a reply to let me know how long it took after any RFE for your EAD? Just curious if I can expect a shorter time than the indicated possibility of 60 days.

It took about 3 weeks for our EAD to go into production after our case went into RFE Response Review. It took 66 days total with an RFE before my wife's EAD was received.
