We did not file AP with AOS (I messed up because I thought we had to pay for it). My question is if we apply for it now as we are waiting for AOS will we have to pay? Thank you

If you already filed your AOS, just include a copy of your NOA1 with your I-131 application. There is no fee if you have already filed AOS.

We did not file for advanced parole at the same time as AOS, because I was mistaken that we had to pay additional $$. We received news that the EAD was approved on 3/10/14 and will be mailed to us. Are we able to apply for parole now as we are still waiting on AOS? If yes, do we now have to pay the fee since it was not submitted the same time as AOS? Thank you for any help!

Yes, no fee is required if you include a copy of the I-797c NOA1 for your I-485 application along with your I-131 application.

There will be no addition fee to be paid while your AOS is pending except for the postal service charge. I Applied for AOS in October,2013, without applying for EAD/AP because I was hoping to get GC within 3-4 months so I did both EAD/AP and mail them yesterday. I send copies of my I-94,notice of action and biometrics as additional proof of my AOS pending.

everyone should just file for AP anyway, i mean why wouldn't you, costs nothing and it's a pretty simple form to fill out. Regarding dates i just made one up and as for reason just put visit family. You can leave anytime you want you just wont get back in or even get on a plane to return.

I applied for AP two weeks ago long after my AOS filing and my AP got approved yesterday which I find kinda odd because all other filings are still at the initial review. Has anyone ever had this experience?
