Hi,

I am from India waiting for my IR1/CR1. We got the NVC case number in second week of February. I am waiting for my IV aplication processing fees for more than a month.

Can someone please help by answering the following two questions:

1. How much time is the NVC taking to process IR1/CR1 currently?

2. How much time is the US Embassy in India taking currently to schedule the interview and issue visa after compeltion of a case at NVC?

no one can tell u the exact amount of time

also there is a mystery abt the visa interview date. they will arrange by the order comes

so just wait n be passions u will get u r soon

Hi,

NVC processing time depends on the totality of the package sent. If all your documents are in order, it wouldn't be too long before it happens.

2. How much time is the US Embassy in India taking currently to schedule the interview and issue visa after compeltion of a case at NVC?

You can look at the consulate's website for this info. Currently, the Mumbai consulate is totally booked out for April.
