We went to local USCIS for AOS interview. Interviewer said everything was in order except he could not find her medical exam. When we drove home my wife said she thought she had seen it at home. She dug through her papers and found a package. When she gave me the package, I realized for the first time that she had the whole package given to her at the consulate. Luckily, the package had a page stamped with a stamp from the airport (LAX) indicating they received it. In other words, the guy at the airport gave her the consulate package back, containing everything we had supplied to the consulate. We then gave the package to our lawyer, who delivered to the local USCIS officer. Its now been about a month since her interview and nothing. What a debacle.
