I am HAPPY to read all the progresses here in the site and wishing you all the best and good luck on EVERYBODY's progress.

UPDATE ON MY STATUS :

As you all know , lol, after filing an incorrect fee (still do not know which one was wrong), I resubmitted the application again on March 18th and they received it on March 19th. Still no answer, text, or email. I checked with Western Union and money orders have not been cashed either.

The only thing that I know is USCIS send me an actual mail saying that I submitted an incorrect fee and I know have a receipt number starting with MSCXXXXXXXXXXX... When I do follow it on USCIS.gov, it says that I submitted a wrong fee (and in ACCEPTANCE stage)

I wanted to ask you all if you know the CORRECT amount of fees that I do need to send these people (just in case that I might have submitted wrong fees again)

1) I-485 : I submitted $1070 (985 + 85)

2) I-130 : I submitted $420

3) I-1765 : I submitted $380 (not 465 because I paid 85 already , NOT SURE IF THIS IS RIGHT)

4) I-131 :I submitted $360 (ALTHOUGH no fees described in USCIS , NOT SURE IF THIS IS RIGHT)

and also, wanted to ask if you guys received any receipt number(s) and if they do start with MSCXXXXXXXX ... I find out that its in NEBRASKA Service Center number and I guess they have it now.

Its totally understandable whats going thru ur head and mind now.....cuz i have been there too but the deal is your total amount is 1490....cuz your form i-485(App. to reg adj of status--->$985) automatically already covers the fee for form i-765(App for Employment Authorization), the biometric fee($85) and then the form i-130(petion for relative--->$420)..........which makes a total of about $1490.even if you send 1490.50 your application will be sent back to u, your looking at the form from another perspective and i believe your adjusting based on marriage so each prices doesnt apply to marriages .... so right now you have to go back in line, cuz that green slip they say u can attach when your Re-sending in your app. doesnt really work that much , i even doubt it even it serves any purpose i guess its just to make applicant feel better.you can write a personal check so u track when they cashed the check or get three money orders(1000,70,420)..its a hell of a waiting game filling for this stuffs requires patient cuz, sometimes the fear of not messing things up is the force behind messing up....yea i know its not easy at all...if you didnt recieve your NOA within at least 14days when your application was recieved then you should be aware that your docs and money is making its way back into your mailBox

I had a biometrics appointment on April 3rd at the Fargo ASC.

Decided to take a chance on a walk in. There was a family in the waiting room when I got there but as soon as they were done, the lady said that it was not problem taking me in early. I filled out a form and she called me in less than 2 minutes later. Fingerprints (a couple of tries at it), a photo, and a signature and I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

We just filed for AOS (130, 485, 765). Mailed it on 4/18 and it was delivered on 4/21. So far we haven't gotten anything! Starting to get a little anxious since I see most filers get an answer within a week I am a US citizen filing for my wife.

If they were to reject the application, for whatever reason, how long would it take for us to find out? Do they also send a text/email to let you know they've rejected your application? Anyone knows?

Good to know we aren't the only ones! still, it sucks waiting. So far the only thing we have been able to check is the money orders we sent and they have not been cashed in yet.

Mine was delivered March 21 too and accepted then. It's funny how the NOA's are all so differently timed.

I got my texts/emails at midnight on the 26/27 but haven't had the hard copy NOAs yet.

Yeah, you're probably right. Just waiting sucks! Knowing that a simple mistake could get it rejected even though We checked all the applications again and again and sent every possible document available. The entire package was about 4 lbs

The whole experience is nerve wracking lol... I think it's just luck of the draw, whoever's desk our packets end up on. I think we submitted more than enough paperwork but I'm still nervous and to be honest it's worse now I know the MSC numbers as I check online every few hours even though I know it's a weekend and nothing has happened!

lol Yeah, I suppose the anxiety doesn't go away until you have the green card in your hand and then it starts again when you apply for removal of conditions. Are you adjusting from a K1 visa?

Nope, from a vwp overstay. Which makes it even more stressful as I can't appeal if they deny. Which hopefully they won't, as I keep hearing that overstay is forgiven.

I am sure that won't be a problem We are in a similar situation, adjusting from a tourist visa overstay. I-94 expired a few months ago. From what I've read, it's usually a problem when you enter without inspection.

I feel ya, the first thing we do in the morning is check our phones for emails/texts, since I hear that people usually get their notifications in the middle of the night. it's kind of disappointing not getting anything yet
