You can look up processing times for your local field office here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do?locale=en-US

If there are no delays, it should say something like "4 months". Otherwise, it will show the filing date of the last case that was completed in that office. For Chicago, it shows that as of 4/30/14, they are working on cases from 7/26/13.

For some perspective, for San Diego, as of 4/30/14, they are working on cases from 12/4/13, and I have not received anything yet. So you may have to wait longer than me, that's my best guess.

For those that have had their interview date already scheduled, can you check your local office processing times and let us know? Maybe we can some hints on when we may receive our interview dates.

I sent out my package on Friday 07/03, it was delivered to Chicago on Monday 10/03. Waiting for e-notification now.

It's on your first NOA. The date received by USCIS.

AOS from VWP

17 March packet mailed (day 0)

21 March Priority Date (day 4)

27 March text/email NOAs received (day 10)

31 March hard copy NOAs received (day 14)

7 April Biometrics letter received for appt on April 28 (day 21)

11 April successful biometrics walk in (day 25)

29 April Testing and Interview ? (day 43)

8 May Date on NOA of interview schedule (day 52)

12 May received hard copy NOA of interview scheduled 16 June! (day 56) :dancing:

27 May email received stating EAD card is in production and my AP has been approved (day 71)

30 May email received stating EAD has been shipped, should arrive Monday! (Day 74)

2 June received EAD in the mail (day 77)

16 June INTERVIEW :dancing: APPROVED!!!! (day 91!!!!)

20 June email received stating Green Card picked up by USPS due to be delivered on Monday 23rd!!!

23 June my green card arrived :dance:

Total time from packet mailed to Green Card received 98 days!!!!

Ours also begins with MSC because that is where our application is initially routed for processing. However, processing times are determined by each local field office since that is where the final adjudication takes place. stay positive! our timelines are pretty similar, I'm 100% sure you will get a respond from them VERY soon!! :)

It was to send the petitioner's 2013 tax returns (me) so i did...yea im not too worried... :) and i was thinking that we have almost the same timeline too! who knows..maybe the website isnt reliable...but im staying positive rather than negative :) its just that we have to travel at the end of september for our wedding so i would reaaaallly like to have the GC before then haha

Hi All!

I've been reading your timelines and stories and I am so happy most of you are within the home stretch of finishing this process! I came here to see what the general timelines were like as I also filed for my husband in March 2014. I am the petitioner and a US Citizen.

I'm getting pretty worried as we have not had an update yet ever since we sent in our RFE response. :cry:

For reference, here is our timeline so far:

March 18, 2014 - AOS Package Filed [i-485, I-130, I-765] and sent via USPS Priority
March 24, 2014 - AOS Package Received & Online Case Status Updated to Initial Review

March 27, 2014 - NOA1 Notices Received for all Forms in Mail

March 31, 2014 - Received Biometrics Appointment Date in Mail

April 23, 2014 - Scheduled Biometrics Appointment Completed

April 29, 2014 - RFE Received for I-485
May 18, 2014 - RFE Response sent via USPS Express Mail
May 20, 2014 - Online Case Status Updated to Request For Evidence Response Review and RFE Received

I am so worried as I see other similar stories who received RFEs and dealt with it, but did NOT see any delay in their EAD processing like we are. We have not received any notices thus far about it being approved nor has the Online Case Status changed for either the I-130 or I-765. Both are still stuck in Initial Review.

I understand the RFE will delay it a bit, but it's been almost 3 weeks since they have received our response and nothing has changed. All we want is at least a notice for a testing & interview date or a status change for the EAD!

Hoping that anyone who has/had any similar delays could chime in so I can assure myself that the delay does not mean anything negative.

March 24, 2014 - AOS Package Received & Online Case Status Updated to Initial Review
