The best answer is always the truth. Always. You will not fool the Consulate. If your marriage is a sham they will see it for what it is. If it is a genuine honest marriage, they will see that too.

Always be 100% honest. That is the best you can do.

That being said, head over to your portal and talk with people who have interviewed at your Consulate. Their experience will be invaluable. http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Ghana

Well yes only you know why you married her. Answer from your heart is the only way and the Consulates are wise. Its a red flag but I know of people that have a bigger age gap than yours get approved at this Embassy. Only you know how you feel about your wife and why you married her. Just be truthful and you will be fine.

What is your motivation?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You don't need anyone to tell you the answers. You know all the right answers by your relationship being legitimate.

...right?

Like most VJ members have said, you will be in a better position to know what answers to give since this is your marriage and you know why you got married. My wife is 15 years older than me but we went through.

"How did you meet", " What does your family think of her" were the only questions asked in connection with her.

To be honest, yours is a big red flag. You being in the 20s is the issue. If you were to be in your mid 30s and the gap is still 30yrs, that wouldn't worry much but never say never. Your might go through and have your approval.

NB

Please be careful of such questions on VJ cos it raises suspicion. I asked the CO who interviewed me whether she knows of Visajourney, and she responded saying they read it all the time.

I will speak from my heart because i love her so much...I feel so loved and overwhelmed already wishing my interview is just a few days to come..Honesty rules it all and i know Gods Will will be done on that day because deep inside us we love each other so much.we been married for 2 years now..Its not been so easy for both of us..My age and hers will certainly not stop us from loving each other regardless of what the outcome will be after my interview..

Thank you friends..I will update you guys on whatever that happens that day.She will be with around for the interview tho...God bless you all..

And for my motivation..My wifes smile does it all..It gives me a wake up call that i have a responsibility to make her smile always..

Thank u folks

Many fraudsters who have internet access have taken to sites catering to lonely older people and use them for a ticket out of 3rd world countries. They will probably assume you are one of these and that you have enchanted your wife. If you are honest be prepared to battle to open their eyes to the truth.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
