I am almost finished with the I-129F package, however I already received my bank letter and the letter from my company.

Am I supposed to include this in the I-129F package? Or can I?

Or do I have to wait until it is asked for?

If I have to wait, will my bank letter/company letter be good by then?

Thanks,

T.

No, you don't send the I-134 and the bank/employee letters with the I-129F, they should be given to your fiancee to take to her interview. And it's best for the information to be up-to-date and recent at the time of the interview - so yes, it's likely you will need to get some new financial information together and do a new I-134 when the time comes.

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Thanks, has anyone ever sent it with the I-129F package?

So I have to invest in sending it to her via DHL/Fedex/UPS?

I just received my NOA2 which is the approval of the I-129F from the Vermont Processing Center. I am now working on the I-134F. I got a letter from the bank yesterday and am waiting for a letter from my employer now. Then I will send it and other supporting documentation to my fiancee in China. So, your bank letter and letter from your company would not have to be sent with your I-129F form. But when you receive you NOA2, you will need them for the I-134F as supporting documentation.

People might have sent it with the I-129F package, but they won't even look at it at that stage - it's not what USCIS are interested in at this point. The point of the I-129F and the evidence you send with it is to demonstrate to them that the two of you are free to marry and have met in person within the past two years. So there would be no point in sending the financial info at this stage - it would just be more stuff for them to wade through, that's of absolutely no relevance to what they're trying to establish. It's the consulate in your fiancee's country that will be looking at the financial support evidence, and they'll want it to be reasonably up to date. I see you're filing to the Texas Service Center, which will send your package on to the California Service Center for processing - you're looking at at least 2 - 3 months just to get your petition approved (possibly longer)... then once approved, your file has to get through the NVC and on to the consulate. I have no idea how long the wait is for interviews in Ukraine, but even if you were really lucky and had the shortest wait imaginable, the I-134 and the letters etc wouldn't be very recent by that time... much better to wait until much closer to the time.

Hope that helps a bit... good luck with it all - sounds like you're getting prepared well in advance!

Oh, forgot to say... yes, if you're not going to be seeing your fiancee in person nearer to the time of her interview, you'll need to mail the I-134 and supporting evidence (along with originals of documents included in the I-129F package, as they may ask to see them at her interview) to her.

I have to ask why you would want to send the I-134 and employment letter with the I-129F?

Well for one, I already have it, for TWO, its going to be part of the package anyway.

Well I thought it would be, so I figured why not send it.

Yeah I also knew about sending a copy of the I-129F to my lady, I was planning to see her in Feb., so I can take it all then.

The problem too, is that I think I made my I-129F too pretty, I added index pages, and tabs, put 2 hole punches on ALL the pages etc.. Its really a work of art, I just hope they dont think its too much and send it back.

Each of the index pages is in Postcard type paper (regular size, but that strong) and it has the title of the index along with a huge watermark. The watermark is a picture of us. Each index page has a different picture, the one that is for our photos has about 40 pictures on that one page. Including 9 originals on the next 3 pages.

The I-134 isn't part of the I-129F package. You only present that at the Embassy at the time of the interview.

Well I guess they won't be able to deny you for lack of proof then!

I was told that the evidence for the interview (police reports, bank statements, employee letters, etc) have to be dated within 60 days of the interview. But see if your consulate has a different reqirement. Good luck.
