Hello Friends,

So, finally i had my AOS interview today and It went smooth.

I/O was pretty frank and didnt ask much. He went thru the I-485 form and then asked me my name and birth place and asked my wife about her name and birth place.

We showed him a big wedding album and he was amazed by that. He also asked me if i want to add anything to file , so i gave him bona fied documents. Then he told me everything looks good but they have to review the file and i will come to know the decision( approval/ denial) in a week or a month. he made copies of my document and gave them back to me.

I am little worried as he gave me my EAD back and ask me to hold it till i get the decision.

But when i came home and checked status on line, I-485 application is in card in production stage.

"On March 11, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283"

And I-130 application is still in INITIAL REVIEW .

Any idea ? is GC approved? Please, help!! :D

IMO, the bolded, italicized, underlined sentence (emphasis added) in the message USCIS sent to you is important. If in doubt, you can always call them to verify.
