Hi,

Our I-130 got approved on Feb 28th , and currently the documents are in transit to NVC.Today we got a confirmation saying that I-129F was also approved . We are confused ,should we proceed with I-129F , or just follow I-130 process ???

Please let us know if someone faced same situation and how they proceed.

Thanks !!

We have the same situation. Currently our 129 is with our embassy and 130 is in NVC. We have already filled out the online ds160 form for the 129, so we're going to go with that if possible. Costs more but it will be faster. Will depend on the embassy, if they go ahead and process it. In some cases it is closed by the embassy, I think its just the luck of the draw really.

Your I-129 will be canceled at NVC. You will follow the I-130 route.
