Ambassey said Visa is ready by this friday to be pick up, CEA says AP

so when my fiance submitted his medical I called the embassy to confirm if they got it and they said they did on march 7th and we will issue his visa in this week but there is no issuance on CEA website I called again to ask if we can book a ticket not purchase of course and they said his visa is ready and will be ship soon to the DHL by Friday or Monday he should received an email from the DHL so am sort of confused I though it should say ISSUED before they ship the Visa to DHL

issued is a singular event at the IV Unit. There are other events occuring afterwards.

Once it's issued, a print-order is handled, the visa being PRINTED then glued to the inside of the passport.

Then the VISA Packet is compiled (this is the entire casefile)

then all is bundled for shipping,

then put in the mailroom for a courier to pick up.

There is no way for anyone here to tell you the exact date change from AP to issued or when it will be shipped or received. Do not book any plane tickets until the visa is in your hands.

now the CEA page says Ready.the kind that says

" Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application."

any idea of what this changing could lead

hope it says Issued very soon am exhausted of this process

well, I think the next thing you will see on the CEAC site is 'Issued' so just wait for few more days Naima!
