We took the advice to make an Infopass appointment to find out what's the deal with Matt's GC. Right before we needed to leave the house, we realized we couldn't find his passport! We were at my parents' house, and we thought it was there, but we couldn't find it. Then Matt thought it was for sure where we were house sitting, which is kind of on the edge of town and out in the woods, so we jumped in the car and hurried off. We got there, and first thing Matt sees is a bald eagle up in a tree! It seemed like a very good sign to spot an eagle before an immigration appointment!

No passport where we are house sitting. We rush back to my parents', and I found the passport right away. We were ten minutes late to the Infopass appointment, but there was absolutely no other customers, so we were seen right away. The officer said it would be re-sent, and should arrive in a week.

My fingers are crossed that it actually arrives, but so far 2007 seems to be off to a great start!! :thumbs:

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony
