if you are under the F2A category, and going through the NVC process, you will need to file your form i864 and get it approve before getting an interview. Are you in this stage already? did you receive case number and Invoice ID Number?

And yes, if your petitioner doesnt meet the 125% income requirement, you´ll need to find a joint sponsor.

Thanks for your reply,

Not sure about the category, My sister requested me,my husband and my kids almost 8 years ago, now I received the Invoice fees for the AOS and the IV applicants with the Invoice Number in a PDF, need to pay this before the process can continue it says. But I have been reading and probably my sister as the petitioner wont reach the min income +125%. Do I have to first pay as the roadmap indicates, then it comes the "Establish financial Support" is there where i have to fill the Joint sponsor?

well, in most cases.. NVC will invoice the fee to be paid in the CEAC page... if yours is available, then you first must pay the fee and then send the appropriate forms and documents to support that form. In this case, you must paid the AOS fee, and then send the i864 of your sister (who petitioned for you) and as you say the joint sponsor (who will file a i864 as well, if its not a member of your sisters household) who needs to have a income that can support you and the rest of your family that's traveling with you..and his/her own household size...

Thanks for the Information! I guess I will pay the fees AOS and IV first, then fill the forms after the NVC instructions.

Another inquire regarding to the Joint Sponsor, the sponsor is for the whole petition or certain applicants?

Finally, do I have to pay all of the IV applicant fees before the interview ? What if some of my children doesnt want to go travel anymore? Just in case...

Thanks!

Another inquire regarding to the Joint Sponsor, the sponsor is for the whole petition or certain applicants? You can have 2 joint sponsors, the first one can fill out a i864 for a few members of the family, and the second one can sponsor for the remaining family members. They must qualify to be joint sponsors depending on ther income (over 125% poverty guideline) and the household size (which includes the family members that will immigrate to USA)

Finally, do I have to pay all of the IV applicant fees before the interview ? What if some of my children doesnt want to go travel anymore? Just in case...don´t know what to do in this case, hope someone else can answer, or try calling NVC and asking about it

Thanks!
